The much-anticipated follow-up film “The Avengers: Age Of Ultron” will be hitting screens this week.
Scarlett Johansson didn’t need superhuman abilities to make a statement when she showed up for a taping of “The Late Show With David Letterman” on Monday.
In New York City, the 30-year-old actress confidently showed off her fashionable sense of style in a chic coat and dress outfit as she headed to her public appearance.
Scarlett, who welcomed her first child just seven months ago, flaunted her impressive figure in a white dress featuring delicate cut-outs. She accessorized with tan leather heels and wrapped up in a coordinating cashmere coat.
Her chic bob was perfectly tousled, and she rocked a pair of vintage-inspired gray sunglasses that added a touch of glamour to her minimal makeup look.
Filled with joy, Scarlett was visibly excited as she greeted her enthusiastic fans with a big smile and a wave before stepping into the studio.
Certainly, her appearance was part of the promotional efforts for her highly-anticipated Marvel movie. She is back in her role as Natasha Romanoff, also known as Black Widow, a character she has played in three previous films: “Iron Man 2,” “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” and the first “Avengers” movie. Joining her in the sequel are Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye, and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. Following the massive success of 2012’s “Avengers Assemble,” which made a staggering $1.5 billion worldwide according to Box Office Mojo, this blockbuster sequel is highly anticipated. In “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” the action-packed story begins with Tony Stark launching a dormant peacekeeping program, only for things to go wrong, forcing the Avengers to come together once again. As they battle Ultron, portrayed by James Spader, a menacing force bent on wiping out humanity, the fate of Earth hangs in the balance. “Avengers: Age of Ultron” is set to premiere in U.S. cinemas on Friday, May 1st.
