Jennifer Lopez appeared frustrated as she searched for her car. The 54-year-old Golden Globe nominee nearly got into the wrong vehicle when leaving Anna Wintour’s pre-Met Gala event at the Vogue editor’s apartment in New York City’s West Village.
After discovering that her ride was not actually prepared, she appeared confused and had to be escorted back to the building under an umbrella, as reported by TMZ. Despite the mishap, Lopez remained graceful as she was surrounded by flashing cameras and adoring fans. She still managed to look effortlessly chic on the rainy night in New York City, wearing a stylish ensemble topped off with a black overcoat draped over her shoulders.
After leaving Anna Wintour’s pre-Met Gala party on Sunday night in New York City’s West Village, Jennifer Lopez nearly hopped into the incorrect car by mistake.
The woman looked puzzled when she discovered that her transportation wasn’t ready and was led back to the building under an umbrella. Lopez was surrounded by cameras and fans during the confusion. She wore a beautiful strapless black velvet Diana Qerimi gown adorned with jewels and black feathers. Completing her look with Casadei black platform stilettos and flashy Yeprem earrings, Lopez also accessorized with matching jewels on her hands. Carrying a black Tyler Ellis clutch, the Hustlers actress attended an event leading up to Monday’s Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Starting off Met Gala Monday with a Good Morning America appearance, Lopez was getting ready to attend the exclusive event for the twelfth time since 1999.
“I was thrilled to be invited to co-host with Zendaya, Bad Bunny, and Chris Hemsworth,” she excitedly shared. “Anna graciously asked me to join in, and I know we’re going to have a great time. It’s always a fantastic event.” Lopez mentioned, “You never know what interesting interactions and styles you’ll come across! I can’t reveal much about my look, but it’s definitely thrilling.” When questioned about walking in her Met Gala outfit, Lopez revealed, “Hardly ever. Comfort is not a priority at the Met Gala.” This year’s Met Gala has a theme of ‘Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,’ introducing the spring 2024 exhibition that aims to push the limits of our creativity and engage us in a multisensory experience of clothing.”
